About Us

After working in the industry for years, Nicole Rodgers-Provencher, our president, realized there was a need for individualized programs for both children and adults as well as wide-ranging, open-ended consulting services. Languages by Nicole opened at its present location in Upper St. Clair on September 30, 1991, focusing on providing these resources to the Pittsburgh area. Since then we have provided corporate, legal and personal interpretation, translations of all kinds, and language and cultural instruction at beginner, intermediate, advanced and remedial levels in various areas.

In all that time we have striven to maintain our individualized approach by providing such niceties as free consultations, no long-term contract requirements, and affordable rates. Our teachers and consultants, many of whom have been with us from the beginning, grace our organization with a wealth of cultural, linguistic, and technical expertise.

We now have a workforce of over 400 international liaison consultants who are trained and experienced in a varied spectrum of professional specialties, cultural backgrounds, and foreign languages. We are confident that we are one of the most reliable providers for language training, translating, interpreting, and cultural awareness workshops in Western Pennsylvania. We offer tailor made, flexible programs for your business and private needs.
